UseCash is an innovative new offline cash payment method for online purchases. Having selected a product from a site, instead of picking a credit or debit card, you select UseCash. This prints out a bar code, which you bring to your local shop. The barcode is scanned in the shop using mobile phone top-up technology and you pay in the shop. It's that simple! No cards, no accounts, no hassle. (For more information on UseCash, click on the link above.)
We have worked with UseCash since January 2005 when Julian Callaghan contacted the office with an idea he wanted to discuss. We immediately recognised it as an amazing idea and began to research it.
Initially we conducted market research to assess the size of the target market and to determine if there was a niche for this service. The results overwhelmingly supported the idea. Micromarketing was then retained to develop a full launch strategy, which included:
• Sourcing a network suitable for UseCash to run on
• Developing a strategy to target and sign up websites to offer UseCash as a service
• Develop a strategy to promote the service to the public.
• Provide for all design needs - logo, website, stationery, print advertisement etc.
After almost three years, UseCash went live onto selected Payzone terminals in Ireland on 13th of December 2007. It will be rolled out nationwide and into the UK laterin 2009. From there, UseCash will be rolled out accross the territories in Europe.
Micromarketing has been retained to continue to provide for all their marketing requirements.
