BioRefinery

BioRefinery produce biofuel and bio-animal-feed from their refinery. They are currently considering launching a new environmentally friendly domestic insulation product in Ireland. Called Gramitherm, the product is made almost entirely out of grass. It has insulation properties (U-value) comparable to the current market leaders, but its production has a net reduction of 1kg carbon out of the atmosphere for every kilogram produced.

We have been working with Mayo-based BioRefinery over the last number of months, researching the insulation market in Ireland.

Through secondary and primary research we:

- Estimated the market size
- Analyzed the current competitors
- Outlined potential distributors
- Outlined price points
- Advised on the key success factors for the industry

This information was presented in a concise document which could then be added to BioRefinery's overall business plan. We are currently working with BioRefinery on the final decisions regarding product launch.
