Clare Doran-Tracy, B.Sc. (Mktg. Mgmt.)
Clare has worked in the marketing arena in London, Boston, Dublin and Galway, and has built up an impressive track record over the past 15 years.
After graduating with an Advanced Diploma in marketing Techniques and a Degree in marketing Management from Trinity College, Dublin; Clare progressed from the role of marketing assistant to marketing manager. She has worked in several industries, including the financial and entertainment sectors, in a number of companies such as Canada Life, IFG Group and the Film Institute of Ireland.
She has gained experience in all aspects of marketing and its application to business. While working in the corporate sector, she managed integrated national promotional campaigns which included such marketing tools as advertising, PR and sponsorship and direct marketing. She was also involved in new product launches as well as organising national sales conferences.
Her experience also brought her into contact with small business in her role as marketing manager to a national franchise. During this time she developed a marketing strategy which included boosting national brand awareness coupled with a lead generating localised programme for each of the franchise offices.
In each of Clare’s roles, she saw the benefit of online marketing in building brand awareness and tracking campaigns, and recognises the importance of an online presence in reaching your target audience.
While in the corporate sector, she had the opportunity to work on rolling out a new visual Corporate identity to the Irish market which involved a new logo, product literature, website and advertising material. A strong clear identity is important for brand awareness and for your customers’ perception of your business.
Clare has seen the benefit marketing can bring to all aspects of your business by increasing brand awareness, communicating what your customers should know about your product/service and ultimately increasing your sales.
